Comments: I didn't realize that my son already had a Team Finland Jersey. The day I went to deliver the one I had ordered from you, he was wearing it. However, when he saw the one I had brought him he whipped that "fake" jersey off and put his new one on. The other was full of snags, a fake logo and dull colours. It went to a second hand store. Comments: It's a much different material, weight, and cut than the 2006 IIHF design. A lot heavier and much more like your traditional jersey material (before the 'Rbk Uniform System'.) The 2006's were very light, thin, and unique feeling material. Felt very delicate to wear. Overall, I like the new 08's better. A more plain, traditional look, but they just feel more like you're wearing a hockey jersey than the 06's. I got it customized with Kimmo Timonen, IceJerseys did a flawless job with the customization as usual. They use 100% authentic on-ice fonts. I have ordered jerseys from a lot of different places, and have been dogged by cheap, knock-off fonts when authentic was advertised. But not IceJerseys, they always do an A+ job in that department. I'll never use another site again for jersey customization, IceJerseys is the hands down best. My only gripe with the jersey, and I mean only, is that the name is not on a plate, it's sewn directly onto the jersey, which trapped one of the little plastic strips that hold the tags on under the stitching. It always sews down the tags in the back. Not a big deal though. Regardless, the jersey and customization both get an A+. Tremedous job, IceJerseys. |

Comments: Of course you want to show off your home team, even if it's a high school league, at a game. But sometimes you want to wear the colors of another team you're proud of, or connected to, or just want a little variety. This jersey will do it (and I'm sure any of the other international jerseys you care to buy). Maybe reflect your ethnic/family pride, the team you liked at the Olympics, or just want something casual to wear on game day (or when raking leaves). The price is great, the quality is great. Good for presents too. Recommend layering if you're sensitive to polyester, because it's rugged fabric, and can get scratchy after a while on its own -- no problem at the rink! |
