This jersey is showy and bright. If you are a true hockey fanatic then having this in the arsenal of NHL jerseys is a must.

I had been looking for a Hartford Whalers jersey and wanted to get name and number customization, but was concerned about ordering something like this online (without actually seeing the quality). I was blown away by how fantastic the customization is on this jersey. I mean when they say it is like a pro jersey, they are not kidding! It looks so good; we've decided to hang it on the wall until the cooler weather comes.

Runs a little short in the sleeves and has a bump/bubble under the Whales tail are the only negative things I see about it. I got the 2010 USA Olympic jersey and was surprised that the sleeves are about 5" shorter on this jersey, chalk it up to different era's. the bubble may cause a problem in the future but didn't want to have to pay for shipping back to CAN. Love wearing it it's great around the house and surprisingly warm.

I grew up in Connecticut during the late 80's and early 90's with season tickets to the Whalers. Although they were never the best team in the league, I always fully supported them and enjoyed the games. If I ever make it big the whalers will be coming back to Connecticut, but moving onto the jersey... As you can tell I love the team. The jersey itself is of really high quality. I'm about 5'9 170 pounds and I got a large which fits perfectly for a jersey.. I play in pickup games all the time and sometimes wear it to sports bars.. there's always the hockey fanatic that is amazed seeing a whalers jersey still floating around and wants to spend 30 minutes discussing the team with me.. I highly recommend this product.

Great jersey. Bought this the very first minute I could, and couldn't be happier. CCM is definately a good build. I also have purchased both of the New England Whalers jerseys from this site in the WHA section. Huge hockey fan originally from North Carolina, my family actually used to live in Hartford for a brief time. There, we attended a few Whalers games, and moved back to NC before their move. Now, we go see them as the Hurricanes, and this jersey is an absolute great way to show team heritage.

Being a hockey fan since I was a small boy, I have vivid memories of certain time lines in the NHL, one of which being the league expansion in 1979-80 and adding the Oilers, Jets, Nordiques and Whalers franchises to the league. Collecting jerseys is not just another hobby, it's about remembering certain times in hockey and being able to share these stories with younger generations. My little boy is now learning all about the Whalers and loves the ol' Brass Bonanza tune! Will keep on collecting these Vintage jerseys and remembering the good old days of hockey.

First of all let me start off with just saying that I am a huge hockey fan even though I am a native Floridian. I've been a huge Florida Panther's fan ever since they came into the NHL in 1993 and I've also been a fan of collecting hockey jerseys. As most fans would know trying to find a Hartford Whalers jersey or any memorabilia can be very hard. However, Icejerseys.com has finally been able to produce such a product that any fan like myself is a collector of. I enjoy wearing the jersey whenever I go to a panther's game unless they play Carolina. I gotta wear either my panther's or some other team jersey for those games. It's great being asked over and over again where did i get that jersey. I do hope Icejerseys will start selling the blue whaler's jerseys soon. Overall though the jersey is great and if your as big a fan as I am then you'll love it.
